Description: E-portfolio is a flexible teaching and learning tool. It can be used in the learning
process of students at various stages. It can be a tool facilitating a student to learn through developing
his/her research skills. It is also an alternative form of assessment looking not just at the final product
at the end of a student's learning process but also a student's progress during the learning process.
It can also be a collection of the records of a student's achievement which can be used in employment and
other purposes. This workshop will discuss mainly the first two functions and there will be a demonstration
of a newly developed web-based electronic portfolio system.
