A poster session will be held at CSCL 2005 during the opening
reception. This is an excellent opportunity to make the community
aware of recent work in progress and to discuss this work in detail
with other researchers. Organizers of interactive events may also
elect to use posters to advertise their events. A limited number of
posters display areas are available.
If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity,
prepare an electronic version of the poster in PDF, RTF, HTML, or
any MS Office or Appleworks format. (Contact us if you need to use a
different medium.) Posters should provide the visual aids needed to
support an interactive conversation with your audience while also
summarizing the main points of the work. We do not recommend using a
lot of text, nor do we recommend a sequence of slides: the poster
medium provides different opportunities than slides accompanying a
talk.
Also please prepare a narrative describing the work to be presented
using the poster. If you previously submitted a paper to CSCL and
were requested to submit a poster, you may provide the paper number
and title in a cover letter instead of this narrative, along with
any further commentary you feel is necessary for us to make our
decision.
Send both the poster and the narrative (or cover letter) to
<cscl2005@cl.ncu.edu.tw> by March 1st, 2005. Notification of
decisions will be completed by April 1st, 2005.
