All papers will be reviewed by the following criteria.
Authors should consider these criteria when preparing their
submissions.
- Summary of Paper:
- Reviewers will be asked to summarize the primary
contribution of the paper. This provides us with a feel
for what conference delegates will learn from the paper.
- Rating Scales:
- Reviewers will be asked to comment on the paper and
rate it on a five point scale from "strongly agree" to
"strongly disagree" on each of the following dimensions:
- Relevance:
- Does this paper address a topic that the CSCL
community cares about or will find interesting?
- Literature:
- Does the paper motivate the work and identify
its contribution in the context of the appropriate
research literature through citation of that
literature?
- Impact:
- Are the claims of the paper likely to have an
impact due to their significance and originality?
- Evidence:
- Are the claims convincingly substantiated,
whether through theoretical argumentation or
empirical data?
- Presentation:
- Is the grammar and organization adequate? Are
figures and tables (if used) understandable and do
they improve the paper?
- General Comments for Author:
- A space will be provided for reviewers to give other
comments to the author(s).
- Recommendations:
- Reviewers will be asked to make the following
recommendations:
- Whether the paper should be accepted in the
category to which it was submitted, on a five point
scale from "strongly agree" to "strongly disagree".
- Whether the paper should be moved to a different
presentation category.
- Whether the paper should be considered for the
Best Paper Award.
- Whether the paper should be considered for Best
Student Paper Award (if applicable).
- Whether an extended version of this paper be
invited for submission to the International Journal
of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning.
